Progressive Wine Tasting at CanalSide showcases community support

More than 60 people including current and prospective YLS members, CanalSide Lofts residents and other community leaders, participated in a the first ever YLS progressive wine tasting.
Guests rotated between three different apartment models, each featuring a different wine, courtesy of Morganellis Liquors and Wines and Advintage Fine Wine Sales. Each wine was paired with a particular type of food as well, all provided by The Happy Cooker and Chocolate Nirvana. A wine bar was also set up beside the pool where WXRY broadcasted live from 5p.m. to 7p.m. 

Both CanalSide staff and members of the Young Leaders Society Steering Com mittee were pleased with the turnout. YLS Social events such as this one provide a great opportunity for networking among young leaders in the Midlands, but also encourage collaboration among business leaders and contributors.


A suggested $10 donation was requested and the majority of attendees obliged, providing resources for United Way of the Midlands. All the vendors donated their goods and committed to providing 10% of the sales they receive from attendees of this event back to YLS.
